Wow! I didn't have any expectations going in, as most asian places nearby are what I'd call americanized slop (Thai Kitchen is good too, but everything else is trash lol) so I was very pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken katsu bento box and loved it. Only way it could've been improved is if there was maybe 25% more of the other sauce that wasn't soy. Maybe in person there'd be slightly more sauce since I got it delivered, dunno. That aside, I recommend this place. I'll be back soon.

This place is awesome The Tom Yum Soup (not pictured) had a hint of spice and came piping hot. Perfect perfect for winter! The pizza sandwich… oh em gee. Get this one! Hard to describe, just TRUST. The Sunnyside Boulevard Roll and Linden Rolls were also excellent. For dessert, the fried banana, tastes like vacation! We dined in, but the majority of people who came through while we were here were picking up takeout orders. If you’re getting takeout, you’re in luck, these folks are quick and efficient.

This restaurant gave me the impression of being poorly managed and lacking professional food service standards, especially for a sushi establishment handling raw fish and other sensitive ingredients. Employee hygiene and presentation were a major concern to me. Staff appeared unkempt, with greasy-looking hair, grimy glasses, cigarette odor, and breath that suggested poor personal hygiene. In food service β€” especially sushi preparation β€” customers expect staff to maintain a very clean and professional appearance because they are directly handling high-risk foods. The sushi bar itself appeared dirty, with pieces of food and residue stuck along the fish display showcase. This raised concerns about the restaurant’s understanding of proper sanitation and food handling procedures. It did not give the impression that strong food safety standards were being followed. The dining area also looked disorganized, with boxes and inventory stored around customer seating areas instead of designated storage spaces. The walls and windows appeared dusty and dirty, adding to the sense that cleanliness was not being prioritized. Another disappointment was being served soup in a Styrofoam container

I love this place! The sushi was so good and the staff were all super nice! They have so many specialty rolls of good quality and really tasty appetizers too. Highly recommend if you are in the area! :)

Went on a lunch date with my daughter. Was very nicely surprised at how fresh and good the sushi was. Food was great.
